Why It’s OK to be NOT OK

International Women’s day has gone and gone. So are the inspiring, motivating messages about Empowering Woman, SuperWoman, bla, bla, bla. Now we are back at stage 0, where we are expected to do all the chores without any help and without any support. We got the appreciation on the Women’s day right, so their job is done. And now, it’s our job to take care of the family, work-life, kids, parents, in-laws, etc, etc. This is precisely the reason for my podcast “Why It’s OK to be NOT OK”

Research proved that continuous multi-tasking is dangerous for one’s mental health. Doing it day after day adds to our stress. We all know that SuperMan and SuperWoman exist only in fiction and not in reality. Then why do we ladies try to don that imaginary hat and drive ourselves to the grave earlier? (hmm, I think, I am going a little overboard here) But still, you got the point, isn’t it? That’s my main intention here in this podcast show – “It’s OK to be NOT OK”.

As a woman, our first step is to understand our true worth, identify our dreams, aspirations, and passions. Once we understand our true worth, our passions will not let us sleep in peace. It will make us walk in the direction of goals. They may be baby steps to start with, but definitely, there would be light at the end of the tunnel.
