Navigating the Maze of Teenage Years

During my own teenage years, I faced similar challenges. The pressures of conformity, the quest for belonging, and the ever-elusive pursuit of self-acceptance were daily battles. However, amidst the chaos and confusion, I discovered the transformative power of self-care.

That’s why I’m here today, sharing my personal story and another story of my client, to offer a guiding hand to teens, middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults alike. By sharing our journeys and imparting valuable self-care wisdom, we can equip the next generation with the tools they need to survive and thrive during these crucial years.

My Client’s Story

One couple consulted me early last spring as they were worried about their child’s chaotic routines and how he would perform in his grade 12 exams, as those results would help him with his college exams. After having the discovery call and completing the #generalprofiling with that 15-year-old boy, I understood that this boy does not have any set routine for relaxation and rejuvenation, and that’s why his stress levels are increasing along with his anxiety levels. He didn’t have an exact clue about the importance of self-care routines. After he started practicing the self-care routines, his anxiety levels were reduced, and he was able to face the exams with relative ease and secure good percentile.

Here are some important tips for reconnecting with your teenager and communicating well with you both.
